  • La pizza + 1 Thick White Base (60x40)
  • 400 g new potatoes
  • 150 g sliced bacon
  • a few sprigs of rosemary
  • a few leaves of sage
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Potato and Bacon Pizza

Preparation

  1. chop the bacon rashers into matchsticks, carefully eliminating any bone or gristle. Peel the potatoes and, using a mandolin, slice them into very thin slices
  2. wash and dry the aromatic herbs, roughly tear up the sage leaves and put aside. Keep a few whole sprigs of rosemary aside and sprinkle the remaining needles with oil
  3. On the La Pizza + 1 thick white base spread the potatoes and bacon, season with a little salt and pepper and sprinkle with the aromatic herbs. Drizzle with oil and place in the oven
  4. serve piping hot, decorating the plates with the rosemary sprigs

Wine match

Serve with a white wine, such as Vermentino from Sardinia, a delicate white to be served cold.
