Ingredients for 2 people

  • La Pizza + 1 red base (60x40)
  • 400g white onions
  • 50g pine nuts
  • 50g whole mullet botargo
  • 2 laurel leaves
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Botargo and Onion Pizza

  1. peel and finely slice the onions. Place them in a large frying pan with a drizzle of oil and cook gently for a few minutes; add half a glass of water; season with salt and pepper, cover and continue to cook for a further 15 minutes
  2. on the thin red La Pizza + 1 base spread the onion and the pine nuts, drizzle with oil and place in the oven
  3. when it is cooked, very thinly slice the botargo and cover the piping hot pizza with it. Garnish with the laurel leaves and serve

Wine match

Serve with a white wine, such as Vermentino from Sardinia, a delicate white to be served cold.
